Who We Are

JASON POTTER - FOUNDER & CEO

Jason Potter has been creating impactful work that brings people together his whole life. His latest project, Fanamity, is a culmination of his passions delivering world-class fan experiences, building lasting brand partnerships, and developing best-in-class cause marketing efforts.

Potter’s work in sports has spanned over 25 years. He discovered his love for developing fan experiences while attending Indiana University, volunteering for the University’s football program by organizing and producing tailgate events open to the entire student body. Following this passion after graduation, Potter began his career in professional sports with stints in the NBA and Minor League Baseball managing marketing, promotions, live entertainment, and content strategy.

Prior to launching Fanamity, Potter lead the Sports Partnerships team for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a globally renowned charity. While at St. Jude, Potter led, developed, stewarded, and grew relationships with sports leagues including the NFL, NBA, PGA TOUR, and LPGA; major brands invested in sports including FedEx and CME Group; and sports media partners including CBS Sports and NFL Network. Under his leadership, the Sports Partnerships team doubled its revenue during his tenure.

Through Fanamity, Potter is focused on helping partners create fans, maximize revenue, and drive results in sports, as well as in traditional business environments and leading not-for-profits. He believes work should be purposeful and fun, and his friendly style will quickly draw your team on board, making connections not previously seen with solutions unimagined.

Jason has a BS in Business Administration from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, with a triple concentration in Marketing, International Business, and Business Economics and Public Policy. He holds a certification from The Wharton School for “Selling Through Customer Centricity” and has previously held a license and certification for Pyrotechnics Display.
